About Clinisys WinPath
Clinisys WinPath is a multidisciplinary laboratory information management system used extensively by NHS pathology services. It manages requests, specimen tracking, worklists, result entry, clinical authorisation and reporting across disciplines including biochemistry, haematology, blood transfusion, microbiology, immunology, cellular pathology and molecular services. Interfaces connect analysers, order-communications systems and external reporting destinations, while rules, audit trails and configurable screens support local governance and automated workflow. WinPath Enterprise is designed for high-throughput, multi-site and multi-trust pathology networks, allowing work and results to move electronically between participating laboratories. Its patient-centred layer helps authorised staff review results across departments while preserving the event history and traceability required for safe diagnostic practice.
