Clinisys ICE

Clinisys ICE is a web-based diagnostic requesting and results-reporting platform used across primary, secondary and community care. Clinicians can order pathology, radiology, cardiology, endoscopy and other investigations electronically, provide the required clinical context and review current and historical results. Sample-management tools support bedside collection, wristband checks and label printing, helping reduce identification errors and duplicate requests. ICE integrates with EPRs, GP systems, laboratory systems and imaging services. Its OpenNet, Gateway and Multi-Org capabilities can connect separate organisations and pathology networks, presenting results from more than one provider together. ICE is therefore an order-communications layer around diagnostic services, rather than the laboratory system that controls analyser work and internal specimen processing.
