About Mizaic MediViewer
Mizaic MediViewer is a healthcare electronic document management system for converting paper and legacy records into a secure, searchable digital library. It supports scanning, indexing and archiving, with SmartIndex and optical character recognition helping classify documents and apply useful metadata. Clinicians can browse records in encounter context, filter content and use AI-assisted search to find related clinical terms. Batch-management and audit functions track documents through back-scanning and day-forward processes, while role permissions govern access. MediViewer is web-based and device-agnostic and can run independently or open within an EPR, using interfaces to bring together documents from multiple clinical sources. Deployment determines taxonomies, retention and integration.
