Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust provides mental health and learning disability care for more than 1.6 million people across both counties. Over 5,000 staff work from more than 50 locations, with major inpatient bases at Hellesdon Hospital near Norwich, Wedgwood House in Bury St Edmunds and Woodlands in Ipswich.
Its community, primary care liaison and inpatient teams support children, adults and older people. Services include crisis care, adult and older people's mental health, child and adolescent mental healthcare, rehabilitation, wellbeing and talking therapies, substance misuse treatment and specialist learning disability provision. The Trust also provides mother-and-baby, secure and forensic services. Geographic care groups help retain local leadership across Norfolk, Great Yarmouth and Waveney, west Suffolk and east Suffolk.
