About Dedalus Lorenzo
Dedalus Lorenzo is an electronic patient record developed for the NHS National Programme for IT and now maintained within the Dedalus portfolio. It gives authorised hospital and community teams a central place to record and retrieve patient information, replacing parts of the paper record and connecting clinical work with administrative pathways. Trust configurations can include clinical documentation, assessments, orders, results, care plans, correspondence and links to specialist systems. Published implementations show Lorenzo supporting paper-light records across dispersed hospitals and clinics, as well as exchanging results with neighbouring electronic patient record systems. Lorenzo is highly configurable, so available modules and workflows vary between organisations rather than forming one identical national installation.
