Dedalus PAS

Dedalus PAS refers to the supplier's established patient-administration products used across NHS trusts, including deployments branded Patient Centre and related UK platforms. A PAS maintains the operational backbone of care: patient demographics and identifiers, referrals, waiting lists, appointments, admissions, transfers, discharges and statutory reporting. It supplies encounter and location information to connected EPR, laboratory, radiology, theatre, pharmacy and reporting systems, helping each application refer to the same patient and episode. Local products and versions vary across the trusts in this register, so this is not one uniform national installation. Dedalus's newer ORBIS PAS continues the same purpose with modern dashboards, interoperability and NHS-specific workflows, but should not be assumed to replace every legacy deployment already listed.
