Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is one of Europe's largest acute hospital organisations, caring for people in Leeds and providing specialist services across Yorkshire, the Humber and beyond. Around 20,000 staff deliver care through seven hospitals on five sites, including Leeds General Infirmary, St James's University Hospital, Leeds Children's Hospital and Leeds Dental Institute.
The Trust provides emergency and local hospital care alongside regional and national specialties such as major trauma, transplantation, cancer, cardiac care, neurosciences and specialist children's treatment. Chapel Allerton, Seacroft and Wharfedale hospitals contribute planned, rehabilitation and outpatient services, including expertise in musculoskeletal disease, motor neurone disease, fertility and prosthetics. University partnerships support extensive medical, nursing and dental education, clinical research and the development of new treatments.
