Epro's ambient voice technology captures a live clinical conversation and uses medical speech recognition and AI to create draft documentation. The platform can generate consultation notes and clinical correspondence, populate specialty-specific templates and support traditional dictation and transcription workflows. Epro also provides voice-driven navigation and can integrate its forms and outputs with EPR, PAS and standalone clinical systems, including distribution through NHS messaging standards. The purpose is to reduce time spent typing while preserving detailed information at the point of care. Clinicians remain responsible for reviewing and approving generated content before it enters the record. Each healthcare organisation determines the deployed specialties, templates, patient-information approach, integrations, access controls and monitoring required for safe local use.
