About Microsoft Dragon Copilot
Microsoft Dragon Copilot is a clinical AI assistant combining ambient consultation capture with established medical speech-recognition technology. It can listen to a patient encounter, prepare a draft note and suggest structured clinical information, while also supporting direct dictation where that is more appropriate. The service can run through web and mobile experiences or be embedded in compatible electronic health record workflows. It is intended to reduce documentation effort and help clinicians retrieve relevant information without disrupting the consultation. Patient consent and suitable information-governance controls are required. Generated content is assistive rather than authoritative: the clinician must review, correct and approve the record before it is used for care.
