CLEO EPS

CLEO EPS is an electronic prescribing service that enables authorised clinicians to create NHS prescriptions digitally and send them to the patient's nominated community pharmacy. Designed for outpatient, urgent-care and community settings, it removes handwritten FP10 forms and reduces problems caused by illegible, lost or delayed paper prescriptions. The platform supports dm+d medicine selection, local or bespoke formularies, multiple prescribing cost centres, prescription tracking and audit information. It uses NHS electronic prescribing infrastructure and FHIR messaging standards, with patient and prescriber identity checks forming part of the workflow. CLEO EPS can operate as a standalone service or integrate with a host clinical system, so the resulting prescription can be connected with the wider care record and local governance processes.
