Ashford and St Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the largest provider of acute hospital services to Surrey residents, serving more than 410,000 people across Runnymede, Spelthorne, Woking and parts of neighbouring boroughs. The trust was formed in 1998 and became a foundation trust in 2010.
Ashford Hospital focuses mainly on planned care, including day-case and orthopaedic surgery, diagnostics and rehabilitation. St Peter's Hospital in Chertsey provides emergency and complex medical and surgical care, alongside maternity, paediatric, neonatal intensive care and critical care services. The trust also delivers outpatient and community-based services and works with local partners to provide joined-up care.
