Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust is an integrated hospital and community-care provider for approximately 530,000 people across Sandwell and north-west Birmingham. More than 8,000 staff deliver care from Midland Metropolitan University Hospital, the Sandwell and City health campuses, Rowley Regis Hospital and numerous community settings.
The trust provides emergency, maternity, medical, surgical, diagnostic and outpatient services alongside extensive community care, enabling patients to receive support in hospitals, clinics and their own homes. Midland Metropolitan University Hospital brings many acute services together in a modern centre serving communities with significant health inequalities. As a teaching organisation, the trust also places strong emphasis on clinical education, research and innovation, while investing in its workforce, digital technology and local regeneration.
