Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust provides acute and community-focused care for more than one million people across Lewisham, Greenwich and Bexley. Its main hospitals are University Hospital Lewisham and Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich, supplemented by community locations across Lewisham and selected services at Queen Mary's Hospital in Sidcup.
The two hospitals deliver emergency and planned care, medicine, surgery, maternity, children's services, diagnostics and outpatient treatment. In Lewisham, community teams provide district nursing, therapies, intermediate care, diabetes and heart failure support, foot health and other specialist services in clinics and patients' homes. The Trust is also an education centre for medical students from King's College London and for nurses, midwives and allied health professionals.
