About Oracle Health Cerner Millennium
Oracle Health can extend Millennium workflows into virtual care through patient portal services, scheduled video visits and remote patient monitoring. Patients may book, register for and join video appointments through the portal, preserving the encounter within the wider health record. For monitoring, Oracle integrates technology from Validic to collect observations from supported home devices, present useful trends in clinician workflow and generate notifications for review. These capabilities can support virtual wards, but Millennium alone does not define a complete pathway. Device availability, patient onboarding, monitoring frequency, alert thresholds, clinical dashboards, staffing, escalation and information transfer all depend on the licensed services, integrations and locally governed care model.
