About Solcom Whzan
Whzan, developed by Solcom, is a remote patient monitoring platform used across virtual wards, community services and care settings. Patients, carers or clinicians can record vital signs and complete structured assessments using connected equipment such as the Whzan Blue Box. Readings are uploaded to the platform for remote review, with time-stamped trends and automated NEWS2 calculation helping teams identify deterioration and decide when escalation is appropriate. Different hardware configurations support patient-led monitoring at home or staff-led health checks. Whzan supplies information to support clinical judgement rather than replacing it; monitoring schedules, thresholds, escalation protocols, integrations and responsibility for responding must be defined locally.
