Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust provides community, mental health and learning disability care across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. Created in October 2024, it brought together Solent NHS Trust, Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust, Isle of Wight community and mental health services, and Hampshire children's mental health services.
More than 13,000 staff work across hundreds of sites, including community hospitals, clinics, schools and people's homes, serving a population of roughly two million. Its services span community nursing and rehabilitation, children's and family care, mental health support from early intervention to inpatient treatment, and specialist learning disability provision. As a university NHS trust, it also supports research, education and workforce development.
