Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust is one of England's largest mental health and disability providers. Around 9,000 staff deliver care across North Cumbria, Northumberland, Newcastle, North Tyneside, Gateshead, South Tyneside and Sunderland, with some specialist services available regionally or nationally.
The trust provides mental health, learning disability and neurological care in people's homes, community settings and hospitals. Its services span children and young people, working-age adults and older people, including crisis care, inpatient treatment, forensic services, neurorehabilitation and support for complex disabilities. Teams work with service users, carers, councils, voluntary groups and other NHS organisations to provide person-led treatment, promote recovery and help people remain well throughout their lives.
