Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is an integrated provider of acute hospital and community services, caring for more than half a million patients each year across Buckinghamshire and neighbouring areas. Its principal acute sites are Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Aylesbury and Wycombe Hospital in High Wycombe, supported by community hospitals and local health facilities.
The trust provides emergency, medical, surgical, maternity, diagnostic, rehabilitation and community care. Stoke Mandeville is home to the internationally recognised National Spinal Injuries Centre, associated with the birthplace of the Paralympic movement. The trust also delivers regional burns and plastics services, alongside specialist stroke and cardiac care, while community teams help people receive treatment, therapy and ongoing support closer to home.
