About System C CareFlow EPR

CareFlow EPR can support virtual-ward services by combining a shared patient record with configurable care-coordination workflows. Teams can use structured documentation, task management, observations, alerts, messaging and pathway views to monitor patients receiving hospital-level or step-down care outside a physical ward. Information from connected systems or remote-monitoring tools can be brought into the record where appropriate integrations have been implemented, allowing multidisciplinary users to review progress and plan interventions. CareFlow is not necessarily the source of every home measurement or device feed in a deployment. Safe operation therefore depends on the contracted modules, integration design, clearly assigned monitoring responsibilities, escalation thresholds and reliable arrangements for downtime and clinical handover.
