Isla supports virtual wards and remote monitoring by collecting patient-reported information and clinical media between face-to-face contacts. Services can schedule secure requests for symptoms, outcome measures, photographs, video or audio, allowing teams to follow recovery and identify submissions that need review. Clinicians manage a caseload through pathway and timeline views, while automation can issue routine requests and reduce manual follow-up. The platform is specialty-agnostic and has published use cases across wound monitoring, surgery, rehabilitation, community care and long-term conditions. Isla does not replace the clinical virtual-ward team or automatically define escalation. Monitoring content, frequency, prioritisation rules, integrations and the response to deterioration are designed for each local pathway.
