Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust provides hospital care for more than 621,000 residents, as well as patients from neighbouring counties. Services are centred on Worcestershire Royal Hospital in Worcester, the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch, and Kidderminster Hospital and Treatment Centre, with additional community-based provision in parts of the county.
Its broad clinical portfolio includes emergency medicine, planned and emergency surgery, maternity, children’s care, cancer treatment, diagnostics and specialist outpatient services. More than 8,250 staff support hundreds of thousands of patient contacts each year across the three main sites. The trust is also a member of the Foundation Group, sharing leadership and learning with partner NHS organisations while retaining its own local identity and accountability.
