About Altera Sunrise
Sunrise Emergency Care is Altera's emergency department component within the Sunrise electronic patient record platform. It gives clinicians access to critical patient information and a real-time tracking interface designed around the pace of emergency workflows. By connecting triage, assessment, orders, results, clinical documentation and patient status to the wider longitudinal record, it reduces the need to reconstruct a patient's history from disconnected systems. Tracking and role-based views help teams understand where patients are in the department and what actions remain outstanding, supporting throughput and timely decisions. Sunrise Emergency Care is integrated with other Sunrise clinical and administrative capabilities, while its detailed workflow and screen configuration can be adapted to local departmental practice.
