Altera PAS

Altera Patient Administration System is a standalone or EPR-integrated platform for managing core hospital administrative workflows. It supports patient registration and management, referrals, admission-discharge-transfer activity, emergency care, waiting lists, beds and outpatient clinics. Changes relevant to a patient are captured and stored throughout the care journey, giving clinical and administrative teams a shared operational record while treatment is active and afterwards. The product includes data collection within workflows for NHS acute statutory reporting and target monitoring, and it integrates with national services including the Personal Demographics Service and NHS e-Referral Service. Vendor-agnostic interfaces also allow Altera PAS to connect with third-party clinical EPRs instead of requiring an all-Altera environment.
