Oracle Health Cerner Millennium includes patient administration functions for maintaining patient identity and encounters across care settings. Registration and admission, discharge and transfer workflows create the administrative context used by clinical applications, while scheduling coordinates appointments, locations, clinicians and resources. Staff can update demographics, contacts and encounter details, manage clinic activity and feed downstream systems through interfaces. Oracle is also introducing a newer cloud Patient Administration experience integrated with the Millennium platform, so screens and capabilities may differ between deployments. National identifiers, e-referrals, waiting lists, RTT logic, statutory datasets, duplicate-record controls and patient communications require country-specific configuration and careful local data governance.
