    Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust provides local and specialist care through Royal Free Hospital, Barnet Hospital, Chase Farm Hospital and North Middlesex University Hospital, which joined the trust in January 2025. Across around 70 sites in north London and Hertfordshire, its workforce of more than 19,000 serves a population exceeding 1.6 million.

    The trust is one of the UK's largest cancer-care providers and receives national and international referrals for services including liver and kidney transplantation, haemophilia, renal medicine, infectious diseases, vascular surgery, immunology and amyloidosis. Its history dates to 1828, and its modern mission combines local care with specialist treatment, clinical research and education, supported by close academic links with University College London.
