St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides hospital care from St George's Hospital in Tooting and Queen Mary's Hospital in Roehampton. More than 10,000 staff serve around 1.3 million people locally, while tertiary neurosciences, paediatric and other specialist services reach approximately 3.5 million people across south-west London, Surrey and Sussex.
St George's is one of London's four major trauma centres, with hyper-acute stroke and heart-attack services, a helipad and extensive critical care. It is also a major children's, cancer and teaching hospital, sharing its Tooting campus with City St George's, University of London. The trust forms a hospital group with Epsom and St Helier, sharing leadership while remaining a separate organisation, and combines clinical care with research and professional education.
