Intelerad Insignia

Insignia is an enterprise PACS and medical imaging platform now within Intelerad. Its architecture combines a central patient and study database with image storage, diagnostic viewing and reporting, and close integration with RIS and EPR systems. DICOM services allow compatible modalities to submit examinations for permanent storage and authorised users to query and retrieve them. Related offerings include breast-screening workflows, vendor-neutral archiving, remote reporting, regional image sharing and disaster-recovery PACS. The platform can therefore support both day-to-day diagnostic work and resilient access to imaging when a primary service is unavailable.
