About GE Healthcare True PACS
GE HealthCare True PACS is an enterprise diagnostic imaging and workflow platform that combines image visualisation, worklists, post-processing and archiving. Its web-based, modular architecture supports local or distributed reporting, enabling radiologists and other authorised clinicians to review examinations from different locations. Standards-based connections can add context from RIS, cardiovascular and electronic record systems, while reading protocols, anatomical synchronisation and automated worklist progression aim to reduce examination setup and reporting time. Optional integrations can introduce third-party AI applications. True PACS is offered in different packages, and GE notes that some capabilities depend on additional components, so the tools available to an NHS trust reflect its licensed version and implementation.
