Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides acute and some community services for around 350,000 people in mid Nottinghamshire and beyond. Care is delivered from King's Mill Hospital, Newark Hospital and Mansfield Community Hospital, as well as community locations, with more than 650 beds across the organisation.
King's Mill is the main acute site, while Newark offers outpatient, diagnostic, day-case, rehabilitation and urgent-treatment services, and Mansfield Community Hospital focuses particularly on rehabilitation and older people's care. Around 6,000 staff and 400 volunteers support hundreds of thousands of outpatient and urgent-care attendances each year. The trust's work centres on compassionate hospital care, improving population health and reducing inequalities with local health and social-care partners.
