Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides hospital and community healthcare across south Cheshire and Vale Royal. It manages Leighton Hospital in Crewe, Victoria Infirmary in Northwich and Elmhurst Intermediate Care Centre in Winsford, employing almost 5,500 staff and operating around 540 hospital beds.
Leighton is the main acute site, delivering accident and emergency care, medicine, surgery, maternity, children's services, critical care and diagnostics. Victoria Infirmary supports outpatient, diagnostic and planned treatment, while Elmhurst provides rehabilitation and intermediate care. The Trust also runs community nursing, therapies, children's services and specialist support in partnership with local general practices and other providers. This combination connects acute treatment with recovery, long-term condition management and care closer to home.
