Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust specialises in the health of women, babies and families from Liverpool and the wider region. Its main Crown Street hospital is one of Europe's largest specialist women's hospitals and Liverpool's sole maternity hospital. The Trust has operated within NHS University Hospitals of Liverpool Group since November 2024 while remaining a separate statutory organisation.
Services include maternity, fetal medicine, neonatology, gynaecology, gynaecological cancer care, reproductive medicine and clinical genetics. Each year its teams deliver thousands of babies, care for premature and seriously ill newborns, undertake fertility treatment and provide genetic consultations across Merseyside, Cheshire and the Isle of Man. Research and innovation are closely integrated with its highly specialised clinical work.
