Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides acute and specialist care primarily for Norfolk and north Suffolk. More than 10,000 staff work across the 1,200-bed Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, the Jenny Lind Children's Hospital and Cromer and District Hospital, handling close to one million patient episodes each year.
The Trust offers a full range of emergency, medical, surgical, maternity and children's care, alongside more than 60 tertiary specialties. Particular expertise includes cancer and radiotherapy, neonatal intensive care, neurosciences, complex spinal surgery, specialist cardiology, vascular and robotic surgery, and complex liver and pancreatic disease. Cromer provides outpatient, diagnostic and day-case services on the north Norfolk coast. University links underpin major teaching, research and clinical training programmes.
