About Fujifilm Synapse PACS

Fujifilm Synapse is an enterprise picture archiving and communication system for storing, managing and reviewing diagnostic images. Its server-side architecture delivers display-ready studies through a browser-based viewer, reducing the need to move complete datasets to each workstation. Radiologists can use worklists, diagnostic viewing tools and prior studies within a consistent workflow, while authorised clinicians can access relevant imaging elsewhere in the organisation. Synapse supports DICOM and non-DICOM content and can connect with radiology systems, vendor-neutral archives, advanced visualisation and third-party clinical applications. Available tools differ by Synapse version and trust configuration, so features such as 3D processing or AI integration should not be assumed in every deployment.
