East Cheshire NHS Trust is an integrated acute and community provider serving people across Cheshire East. More than 3,300 staff work at Macclesfield District General Hospital, Congleton War Memorial Hospital, Knutsford and District Community Hospital and in community settings throughout the area.

Macclesfield provides emergency, medical, surgical, maternity, children's, cancer, cardiology and diagnostic services. The community hospitals and neighbourhood teams support outpatient care, rehabilitation and services closer to home. Community provision includes nursing, therapies, children's support, audiology, bladder and bowel care and management of long-term conditions. Through local care communities, trust staff work with GPs, social care, mental health providers and voluntary organisations to coordinate support, help people remain independent and avoid unnecessary hospital stays.
