Bristol NHS Foundation Trust

Bristol NHS Foundation Trust provides hospital and community healthcare across Bristol, Weston, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset, alongside specialist services for patients from across the South West and beyond. The Trust was formed through the merger of North Bristol NHS Trust and University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust, bringing together services across Southmead Hospital, Bristol Royal Infirmary, Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, Weston General Hospital and a wide network of specialist, diagnostic and community sites.

Its services span emergency, medical, surgical, maternity, paediatric and critical care, with regional and specialist expertise including major trauma, neurosciences, cardiac care, cancer, renal medicine, orthopaedics, plastics and burns, ophthalmology and dental services. The Trust also provides rehabilitation, prosthetics and assistive technology, and has significant teaching and research links with the University of Bristol and other academic partners.
