East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust was created in April 2026 by bringing together Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust and Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust. Around 7,000 colleagues serve 3.5 million people across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Luton, Milton Keynes, Norfolk, Peterborough and Suffolk.
The trust delivers care from birth to the end of life in people's homes, community hospitals, clinics and other neighbourhood settings. Services include adult community nursing and rehabilitation, children's health, contraception and sexual health, dentistry and musculoskeletal care, with provision varying by local area. Its teams work with councils, NHS partners and community organisations to help people remain independent, manage their health and avoid unnecessary hospital admissions.
