Sheffield Health Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust provides mental-health, learning-disability, autism, neurodiversity and dementia services, primarily for people in Sheffield. Its community and inpatient teams support recovery and independence close to home, while regional specialist services and its gender identity clinic receive referrals from a much wider area.
The organisation adopted its current name in September 2025 to reflect a strengthened university partnership with the University of Sheffield; patient care continued without interruption. More than 2,500 staff support over half a million people across Sheffield and South Yorkshire, delivering around 500,000 care contacts annually. Research, education and evidence-led practice complement its focus on person-centred, trauma-informed care and reducing inequalities in mental, physical and social wellbeing.
