Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust provides mental-health, learning-disability and neurodevelopmental services for children, adults and older people across Brighton and Hove, East Sussex and West Sussex. Care is delivered in people's homes, GP surgeries, specialist clinics, hospitals and low- and medium-secure units, allowing support to be matched to different levels of need.

The trust combines community and inpatient treatment with crisis, forensic and specialist services. It works alongside patients, carers, families and partner organisations to improve outcomes and join up care across Sussex. Research is a major part of its role: university and health-system partnerships help test new approaches, develop its workforce and translate evidence into treatment, while its clinical expertise also supports training and advice across the wider care system.
