Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust provides specialist mental health, learning disability, eating disorder, substance misuse and children's services across Derby and Derbyshire. Around 3,000 staff work from community bases throughout the county and inpatient units in Derby and Chesterfield, serving a combined population of approximately one million.
Its care spans all stages of life, from health visiting, children's therapies and perinatal mental health to adult neurodevelopmental services, crisis care and older people's dementia support. The trust also runs Derbyshire's drug and alcohol recovery service and the regional East Midlands Gambling Harms Service. Clinical teams combine psychiatry, psychology, nursing, social care and therapies, with research and service-user involvement supporting continued development of treatment and recovery-focused care.
