Access Rio

Access Rio supports patient-facing digital services alongside its core electronic patient record. Through tools such as Rio Virtual Assistant, organisations can offer a digital front door through which patients communicate with services, manage appointments and complete information such as referrals, assessments, outcome measures, experience measures, surveys and consent forms. Submitted data can be added to the Rio record, reducing the need for staff to rekey information and helping patients participate more directly in their care. The exact portal experience and available functions depend on the modules and configuration chosen by each organisation, but the underlying aim is to improve access, engagement and self-management while keeping information connected to clinical workflows.
