About Access Rio
Access Rio is a configurable electronic patient record that can support urgent-care workflows by giving authorised staff access to current patient information, assessments, observations, alerts, referrals and clinical notes. Its mobile and browser-based tools allow information to be recorded at the point of care and synchronised with the central record, while order communications can connect requests and results to the patient journey. Rio also offers integration capabilities for exchanging data with surrounding hospital and community systems. Although best known in mental health, community and child health services, organisations can configure its workflows for local care pathways. Available emergency-care functionality therefore depends on the modules and integrations implemented by each provider.
