Decision support can flag issues such as allergies, dose-range problems and high-risk prescribing, while integrations connect medicines activity with the wider electronic patient record and hospital systems. Better Meds is built around openEHR clinical data and supports standards-based interoperability, including FHIR, so medication information can be reused rather than trapped in a proprietary document. Deployments can be configured to local formularies, policies and clinical workflows across different care settings.
