Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust provides mental health, learning disability and autism services for around 1.3 million people across Bury, Oldham, Rochdale, Stockport, Tameside and Glossop. Approximately 4,700 staff deliver care from 88 hospital and community locations across the eastern part of Greater Manchester.
Its mental health services range from talking therapies for anxiety and depression to crisis care, psychiatric intensive care, inpatient treatment and rehabilitation for serious illness. Dedicated teams support children and young people, older people with dementia, and adults and children with learning disabilities. The Trust also provides autism assessment, drug and alcohol treatment, complex emotional-needs services and specialist support for military veterans. Borough-based services allow clinical teams to work closely with local councils, general practices and voluntary organisations.
