Dedalus Patient Centre is an established NHS patient administration system that manages demographics, encounters and the movement of patients through hospital services. In emergency and urgent care it can create the attendance, identify the patient, record arrival and location changes, and pass encounter information to connected clinical, diagnostic and reporting systems. This administrative foundation prevents the emergency episode from becoming detached from the wider hospital pathway.
