About Dedalus Radcentre
RadCentre is a radiology information system used to organise the administrative and clinical workflow around diagnostic imaging. It manages patient and examination details, scheduling, worklists, procedure status and reporting, and connects bidirectionally with picture archiving and communication systems so images and reports remain associated with the correct request. Published versions have also supported integrated dictation, structured reporting, document access, dose-management functions and radiology analytics. At Moorfields, the exact modules and integrations depend on the locally maintained deployment. RadCentre should be distinguished from PACS: the RIS coordinates appointments, examinations and reports, while PACS stores and displays the diagnostic images. The product has a long history under different healthcare-software owners, which explains varying supplier references in public records.
