About Dedalus Viaduct
Dedalus Viaduct is a healthcare integration engine that moves information between clinical, operational and administrative systems. Integration teams use it to receive messages, map data between formats, apply routing and filtering rules, orchestrate workflows and deliver information to the correct destination. It supports established HL7 message types as well as FHIR adapters and REST-based services, enabling connections among PAS, EPR, laboratory, radiology and departmental applications. Operational tools support monitoring, replay and troubleshooting so failed or delayed exchanges can be identified and corrected. Viaduct does not provide a clinical record itself; it is middleware that keeps multiple records and workflows synchronised. Each trust determines its interfaces, transformations, security controls and resilience arrangements around the systems it needs to connect.
