Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides acute hospital services for around 600,000 people across Hampshire and parts of west Berkshire. Its three hospitals are Andover War Memorial Hospital, Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital, and the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester, supported by outpatient and community locations.
Basingstoke and Winchester provide emergency, medical, surgical, maternity and children's care, together with diagnostic and critical care services. Andover has an important role in planned treatment, outpatients, rehabilitation and minor injury care. The Trust also hosts specialist services used by patients from beyond its local area and works with universities and NHS partners on clinical education, research and the development of more joined-up care pathways.
