Bespoke EPR

This bespoke EPR entry covers locally developed electronic patient record capabilities at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Yorkshire Ambulance Service. The two implementations serve different settings and should not be treated as one product. Yorkshire Ambulance Service's staff-designed ePR begins with information from the 999 computer-aided dispatch system and lets frontline clinicians record assessments, observations, narratives, signatures and injury images on iPads, sharing timely records with receiving hospitals. Hampshire Hospitals' entry represents its locally configured clinical record environment supporting hospital services. Because the database groups separate trust systems under a generic EPR label, functionality should be interpreted per organisation rather than assumed to be identical, and local deployment details require trust confirmation.
