Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust provides acute and specialist care from Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital in Cottingham. Its services support Hull, the East Riding of Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, while some specialist teams receive referrals from a much wider area.
Hull Royal Infirmary is the focus for emergency and major trauma care and also houses women's and children's services. Castle Hill is a major centre for planned surgery, cardiac and cardiothoracic care, and cancer treatment through the Queen's Centre. Alongside its clinical work, the Trust is a teaching and research organisation with strong links to Hull York Medical School and local universities, training future healthcare professionals and developing new treatments.
