About Dedalus Lorenzo

Within medicines management, Dedalus Lorenzo can connect prescribing and medication-related activity with the patient's wider electronic record. Depending on a trust's configured modules and integrations, clinicians may review medicines information, place medication orders, document relevant clinical decisions and carry information through admission, inpatient care and discharge. Lorenzo is a broad NHS electronic patient record and patient-administration platform, not the same product as Dedalus MedChart, the supplier's dedicated end-to-end electronic medication management system. This register classification should therefore be read as Lorenzo's role in the local ePMA landscape rather than proof that every named trust uses an identical prescribing module. Formularies, pharmacy review, administration charts, decision support and interfaces are determined by each deployment.
